Your choice on this browser

You are not opted out on this browser.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The switch above records that request for this browser. With it on, we will not sell your personal information and we will not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms.

We run no advertising or cross-site measurement tags today. No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag. We have not sold or shared personal information in the past twelve months, and we do not rent, trade or license customer lists. Any advertising tag we add later runs through this switch, and is named in the Privacy Policy in the same change that adds it.

Vercel Analytics counts page views here. It sets no advertising cookies and does not follow you to other websites.

Saved in this browser only

The choice is stored as a small preference in this browser. It holds one value, opted out or opted in, and no name, no account and no identifier of any kind. We hold no record of it.

Set it again on every browser and device you use. Signing in does not carry it across. Clearing your cookies clears it, and the setting goes back to unset. Left alone, it lasts thirteen months.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control is a setting some browsers and browser extensions send with every request. We honor it automatically and treat it as a valid opt-out, so you do not have to find this page.

While your browser is sending the signal, the switch above shows opted out and cannot be changed, and the signal wins even if this browser had previously chosen to stay in. We store no preference of our own from it. The signal applies while your browser sends it, and stops applying when you turn it off.

What opting out does not change

Opting out does not unsubscribe you from our newsletter. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Your other privacy rights

You can also ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy, to correct anything that is wrong, and to delete it apart from the order and tax records the law requires us to keep.

You can ask us to limit how we use sensitive personal information. The one category California treats as sensitive that we hold at all is your account log-in: the email address and the password that opens the account. We use it to sign you in and to keep the account secure, never to infer anything about you.

Ask us on Contact us. You do not need an account to make a privacy request. We will ask a question or two to check the request comes from you, and we answer within 45 days. If we need the extension the law allows, we will tell you before the 45 days run out.

An authorized agent may make a request for you. We will want proof that you gave them permission, and enough information to confirm your identity.

We will not treat you differently for asking: not a worse price, not a worse service, not a closed account.

People under 16

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Accounts here are for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
